Best ever, yummy!
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 pie crust
4 cups fresh
strawberries, washed and hulled
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon lemon
juice
1. Sprinkle
powdered sugar on pie crust and fill with 2 cups of the largest berries.
2. In a saucepan,
crush the remaining berries, then stir in sugar and cornstarch. Cook over
medium heat until mixture is thickened and clear, 8 to 10 minutes, stirring
constantly. Add lemon juice, remove from heat and cool slightly.
3. Pour strawberry
sauce over berries in the pie shell and cover and refrigerate for at least 4
hours.
4. Serve with fresh
whipped cream if desired.

Easy Pie Crust
1 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup oil
1/8 cup cold milk
Yield: Makes 1 bottom crust
