Preheat
oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl, mix all ingredients. Form into half-inch balls
and place on a baking sheet and bake until browned, about 10 minutes. Makes
about 40 meatballs. Serve with sauce.
Spicy Red Sauce

tablespoons butter
2 cloves

minced onions
½ cup
hearty beer
¼ cup brown
sugar
½ cup
tomato purée

tablespoons cider vinegar
2
tablespoons vinegar based hot sauce
½ teaspoon
cayenne pepper

tablespoon honey
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black
pepper
Melt butter
in a saucepan and sauté garlic and onions until translucent or about 10
minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer over low for 30 minutes.
