Shrimp and Blue Cheese Pasta with Bacon Onion Green Beans

Shrimp and Blue Cheese Pasta
1 pound shrimp, shell removed
2 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, smashed and minced
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
½ cup blue cheese, crumbled
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ cup cream or half and half
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons sliced green onions
8 ounces cooked pasta
Melt the butter and add shrimp and garlic, salt and chili flakes. Cook until shrimp are done, about 5 minutes on each side. Stir in cheese, Worcestershire, half and half and pepper. Heat through and mix with pasta and sprinkle with green onions.

Bacon & Onion Green Beans
1/2 pound green beans
3 slices bacon
½ cup diced onions
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup water

Cook the bacon in a skillet that has a lid. When bacon is crisp remove from pan place on a paper towel. Add onion and green beans to pan and sauté until onions turn translucent. Add salt and water and simmer the green beans until they are tender and hopefully have absorbed the water and are coated with bacon and onion. Place green beans in a serving bowl and sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
