Serves 6 to 8 as an appetizer, 4 as main dish
Serve with toothpicks for spearing as an appetizer
Serve with pasta or potatoes as a main dish
1 pound ground beef
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
1 clove minced garlic
4 ounces blue cheese, crumbled
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon chopped parsley
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup dry red wine
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a bowl, mix all ingredients. Form into half-inch balls and place on a baking sheet and bake 10 minutes until browned.
