Ice T Citrus Daiquiri

A friend came over to visit one sunny summer day about 20 years ago and brought the things to make this drink and I have been making it every summer ever since then. It is a not too sweet Slurpee with a little alcohol. You can adjust the amounts of everything and it still tastes fine! You can also use whiskey or bourbon in this drink as well!
Ice T Daiquiri
4 tea bags
1 cup hot water
4 cups water
1 can (15 oz) frozen lemonade concentrate
1 can (6 oz) orange juice
1 cup sugar
3 cups rum
1 quart ginger ale
Heat the one cup of water to boiling and add 4 tea bags. Steep tea bags for about 15 minutes and pour them into a container that can be put in the freezer. Add 1 large can (12 oz) lemonade concentrate, 1 small can (6 oz) small orange juice concentrate, 1 cup of sugar and 3 cups of rum. Put this mixture in the freezer for several hours. To serve, remove icy rum mixture from the freezer and scoop it into a glass to fill about 3/4 full and add ginger ale to the top of the glass.
