Italian Chicken Fricasse

1/2 pound Italian Sausage
6 pieces chicken, skinless & boneless
4 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup onions, chopped
1 cup diced green peppers
½ pound mushrooms, sliced
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon thyme
½ pound ripe tomatoes, chopped
½ cup red wine
1/2 cup water
1 cup orzo


Brown sausages and add chicken cook until browned on both sides, about 10 minutes then add garlic, onions, peppers, mushrooms, salt, oregano, and thyme and cook for another 10 minutes. Add the tomatoes, mushrooms, red wine, water and orzo and cook until pasta is done and flavors are well blended, about another 15 minutes.
